Skyways to come up on Telangana lands

580 private properties have been identified for demolition, but it will taken up in the next phase.

HyderabadGovernment land will be acquired first to construct skyways, multi-grade separators and flyovers to ease traffic congestion at busy junctions. Lands belonging to HMDA, JNTU-H, tourism department, CCMB and Survey of India.
 
Officials from these institutions were invited for a meeting with chief secretary Rajiv Sharma on Wednesday. About 19.10 acres surrounding the KBR Park and 0.9 acres near Bio-Diversity Park, both belonging to the HMDA, 0.14 acres of JNTU-Hyderabad near Rajiv Gandhi statue and the tourism department’s 1.2 acres near Cyber Towers will be acquired,
 
This apart, 580 private properties have been identified for demolition, but it will taken up in the next phase. The private properties are 0.19 acres at Maharaja Agrasen Bhavan, 0.35 acres at Filmnagar, 0.45 acres at Jubilee Hills Road No. 45, 0,5 acres at Jubilee Hills checkpost junction, 0.89 acres at LB Nagar junction, 7.5 acres at Uppal, 2.5 acres from Abids GPO to Chaderghat road and 12.16 acres at Mindspace.
