Samsung seems to be gearing up for a mega launch of two new phablets- Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Media reports state that it is trying to hurry up with the release of two high-end phablets way before the next iPhone is launched.

Even though the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus may sport a 5.7-inch AMOLED display, these premium looking handsets will carry distinct features. Media reports state that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 phablet will be powered by a 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7422 processor. Whereas, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is expected to be equipped by a Snapdragon 808 chipset.

A report by SamMobile stated that Samsung has been testing the Exynos 7430 chipset and a 4K display for the device. However, the company has decided to fuel its future devices with Exynos 7422 and a 2K display.

On its camera front, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will likely sport a 16MP rear shooter and 5MP front-facing camera.  Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus phablet will definitely run on the latest version of Android Lollipop operating system and is speculated to offer 32GB of in-built storage.
