TNPSC assistant statistical investigators exam held

The exam was held in two sessions, dividing the 600 students into two slots

Coimbatore: As many as 614 candidates wrote Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Assistant Statistical Investigator exam held at Government Arts college. The exam was held in two sessions, dividing the 600 students into two slots. From the first slot, in the forenoon session 153 students were present and 147 were marked absent. In the afternoon session 151 students wrote the exam and 149 were absent. 
 
In the second session, 156 students were marked present in the forenoon session and 144 were absent. In the afternoon session, 154 students were present and 146 were absent. The examination also marked present to a differently-abled candidate. 
 
The three hour exam was held at Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Thanjavur, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli, Vellore and Villupuram centres in TN. The exam was conducted to fill up 268 vacancies of assistant statistical investigator posts service from TN general subordinate department.
