'Baahubali' breaks records at Box Office, here's the weekend collection in India

‘Baahubali’ which is touted as the most expensive film to date, was released in cinemas on Friday.  It enthralled audience with its lavish and spectacular locales. It certainly did strike a chord with Indian movie-goers with its magical kingdoms, thrilling bull fights, war sequences down icy slopes and a fitting climax.

This movie is said to have the biggest opening ever, surpassing blockbusters like ‘Happy New Year’ and ‘Dhoom 3'. On the first day, the film collected Rs.50 crore in India, with an additional Rs.16 crore coming from overseas. In its Hindi version, it netted Rs.5.15 crore on the first day, making it the highest opening for a dubbed film. Here's how much the Hindi version has minted all over India.
