Sobha Yatra bus flagged off from Guntur

Mr Venugopala Reddy said that this is for the first time the state government is sponsoring a Sobha Yatra

GUNTURGodavari Mahapushkaralu Sobha Yatra was flagged off from Guntur on Sunday. On the occasion, Narasaraopet MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, along with Guntur district collector Kantilal Dande and Guntur West MLA M. Venugopala Reddy, flagged off a bus full of devotees from the Naaz Centre.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Venugopala Reddy said that this is for the first time the state government is sponsoring a Sobha Yatra and asked people to be a part of the religious trip. 
Mr Venugopala Reddy said that 20 buses have been arranged for the Sobha Yatra in the Guntur district and these vehicles started from various places with devotees. He added that eight buses were arranged from Guntur city and these buses would reach Rajahmundry on July 14. 
 
Also present at the spot, Mr Sambasiva Rao said that of the 12 Pushkaralus, Godavari Pushkaralu is considered to be the most sacred for Telugu people.  Similar Sobha Yatra buses started from Mangalagiri, Tenali, Chilakaluripeta and other areas of Guntur district.
