ACB officials arrested GHMC’s Kukatpally town planning section officer

Hyderabad: Anti Corruption Bureau officials arrested GHMC’s Kukatpally town planning section officer and found that he was possessing property worth Rs 1.5 crore. They said the accused T. Emanuel was booked for disproportionate assets.
“During the searches, the ACB team found residential buildings at Hanmakonda, Kazipet and Kukatpally, seven house plots in Warangal, two acres of agricultural land in the same district, a Toyota Innova, a Swift Dzire and a Honda Activa two wheeler. Half kg gold ornaments, Rs 1.5 lakh cash, and Rs 3 lakh bank balance and two under construction shopping complexes in Warangal, all worth about Rs 1.5 crore were also unearthed,” said an official from ACB.
He added that the market value of the immovable properties is approximately Rs 5 crore. The accused, Emanuel, was sent to judicial remand.
