HyderabadTwo Intermediate students were caught by the police for carrying drugs. Police seized 300 grams of ganja from them. The students and their parents were counselled and let off. Sources said the two students aged around 16 and 17 are studying at a college in Kushaiguda. 
 
On Monday afternoon, they bunked classes and came to Kapra Lake at around 3 pm. They procured the banned drug from an unknown source. They filled the powder in cigarettes and started smoking. Seeing the police patrol they tried to run away but were caught. 
 
However, the police denied the reports. “No such incident has come to our notice. We will take strict action against anyone found with banned drugs or using them,” said Kushaiguda Inspector N.V. Ramana. No case was registered.
