Give mothers’ initial equal importance, says Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam

Coimbatore: Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam has petitioned the district collector Archana Patnaik urging the ordering of the inclusion of the initials of the mother also before a child's name.
 
K. S. Lalitha, district women wing secretary said, "A state which is ruled by a woman Chief Minister and Coimbatore has a women district collector, how can this order be avoided. We want every child to have their father as well as mother's initials before their name.”
