Board says collective decision will be taken after analysing verdict
Mumbai: After the declaration about suspension of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals, along with officials comprising Gurunath Meiyappan and Raj Kundra from the respective franchises, BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya said the board will ensure the sport is clean and respects the judicial decision.
“BCCI is committed to honour and respect judicial decisions and it would give its observations after the entire report is read and a collective decision is taken,” said Dalmiya.

He also added that the board will restore the faith and confidence of millions who love cricket in general and Indian Premier League in particular.
Mr. Anurag Thakur, Honorary Secretary of the BCCI, said: “We respect the verdict and would undertake a collective decision in a transparent manner, in the right direction and in the larger interest of the game after the verdict is received and analysed.”
