Salman Khan has always maintained that he follows “humanity” and no religion in particular. Now, his family seems to share his belief too.
Recently, Salman’s mother Salma and his sisters Arpita and Alvira Khan flew to the famous Kamakhya temple in Guwahati to offer prayers, while the rest of the family members in Mumbai were observing roza.
Says a source, “Salma ma’am and the sisters were there with director Kabir Khan’s wife, Mini Mathur. They were there to pray for the well-being of their respective families. But they also performed a puja for the success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan since it releases this weekend.” Incidentally, the film too advocates a neutral stance on religion.
We tried asking Salman about his family’s trip, but he refused to address the question directly. The superstar only smiled and said, “I love my family and they love me too.”
