Hyderabad: Railway employee held for molesting minor
According to the police, at around 4 am, the accused tried to touch the girl’s feet

Hyderabad: The Kachiguda railway police on Monday arrested Basava Reddy, 24, a railway employee, for molesting a minor in a train. Basava Reddy, who is based in Bengaluru, allegedly misbehaved with the 17-year-old girl, a resident of Madhya Pradesh, who was travelling to take an exam.
According to the police, at around 4 am, the accused tried to touch the girl’s feet. She immediately woke up and protested. He kept quiet for some time but started touching her again, Kachiguda GRP inspector Linganna said.
When he did not stop, the victim started screaming. Following a complaint, police registered a case and sent the accused to judicial custody.
