Overwhelmed by Salman's love, Sooraj Pancholi breaks down on stage
The actor will be making his Bollywood debut in 'Hero' with Athiya Shetty
Mumbai: The trailer launch of 'Hero' was a star studded event which was attended by Salman Khan, Subhash Ghai, Sooraj Pancholi along with father Aditya Pancholi, Athiya Shetty along with her parents Sunil and Mana.
Sooraj, and Athiya will be making their Bollywood debut with this film. Salman Khan has been responsible for launch of many actors careers including Sonakshi Sinha. The actor is always encouraging the youngsters in the industry to try out new things and push their limits.
At the trailer launch as soon as Sooraj proceeded to the stage he was greeted by Salman with a warm hug. The youngster stood on stage hugging his mentor for almost a minute or two, and was so overwhelmed by Salman’s gesture that he broke down into tears on stage.
When asked why he burst into tears, Sooraj responded, “This is a dream launch. It couldn’t have gotten better than this for me. Everyone dreas to get a launch like this, So when I got it, it made me emotional.”
The film was initially to be released on September 4th however the makers shifted the release date to the 11th, thus avoiding a clash at the box office with the upcoming comedy ‘Welcome Back’.
