Savarakatthi will show Mysskin in a different light: GR Aditya
The story revolves around the life of a barber
The first look poster of Mysskin-starrer Savarakatthi has been released. Speaking about the film, director Mysskin’s brother GR Aditya, who’s directing the film, says, the story revolves around the life of a barber.
“Actually, directing Mysskin, my brother, is going to be challenging for myself because he himself is an acclaimed director. Mysskin has extended absolute freedom to me. I have worked as an assistant director for him in the films like Anjaadhey, Yuddham Sei, Pisasu etc. This film will show Mysskin in a different light and he has written the script,” says Aditya and adds how he calls his brother a director. “I don’t call him ‘anna’. I call him only ‘director’.”
Speaking about the film, Aditya says,“Set in Chennai, the film will have Mysskin, playing a villain. It is not exactly a negative character. The film is a full-on comedy, we are targeting the family audiences. When we were discussing about this film, I wanted to direct this because comedy has always been my forte. So, when I am directing Mysskin in this, I am totally excited and as well nervous,” he tells DC. Thangameengal fame Ram playing a barber. “What happens between the barber and rowdy forms the rest of the story. Poorna plays Ram's wife in the film, which is a homely character,” he adds.
