School bus overturns in Tamil Nadu, 50 children injured

Perambalur, Tamil Nadu:  Fifty students of a private school were injured on Thursday when their bus overturned near a bus-stand.

The police said the driver of the bus, carrying about 60 boys and girls, lost control of the vehicle and it overturned.

They said 27, who were seriously injured, were admitted to a hospital while the rest were treated as out-patients.
