Suspected LTTE operative arrested in Ramanathapuram

Police seized 75 cyanide capsules and 300 gm of cyanide powder along with 4 GPS devices

Chennai: Tamil Nadu police on Monday night arrested a suspected LTTE operative who is believed to have served as one of secretaries of slain Tiger leader V. Prabakaran, in Ramanathapuram during a vehicle check along with two local residents. 
 
The LTTE man was identified as Krishankumar, 39. He along with Rajendran and Saikumar were travelling from Madurai to Ramanathapuram in a car when police stopped them for vehicle check. 
 
The police also seized 75 cyanide capsules and 300 gm of cyanide powder along with 4 GPS devices, mobile phones, Indian and Lankan currency. Police said Krishnakumar earlier stayed in one of special camps for Sri Lankan refugees where suspected Tigers and LTTE sympathisers are lodged.
