Cersei Lannister was forced to do a walk of shame in the season finale of 'Game of Thrones'

London: An ISIS leader in eastern Libya has been given an execution straight out of reel life - a 'Game of Throne' styled-walk of shame followed by the gallows.

Reports from the western media suggest that he was made to walk through the town naked as the onlookers taunted him and shamed him. The execution is being compared to the walk of shame of Cersei Lannister, one of the prime characters of  the popular televsion series 'Game of thrones'.

The execution was carried out by an unnamed jihadi group in the port city of Derna in Libya, which was one of the ISIS strongholds until a while ago.

The executed ISIS leader was the Iraqi native named Abu-Ali al-Anbari, and was one of the key leaders of the organisation in the region and was was tasked with linking ISIS and various other jihadi organisations in the area.

The execution is seen as a message to ISIS in its own style of brutality, and also questions the so-called dominance of the organisation in the region. It is also expected to serve as a message to others not to join the dreaded terrorist group.
