Sumanth Ashwin now busy with Columbus

Hyderabad: Sumanth Ashwin, who is slowly making his mark in Tollywood, is concentrating on his upcoming film Columbus. The actor’s last film Kerintha was a hit and his performance was lauded.

 

In Columbus, Ashwin will have two female leads, Seerath Kapoor and Mishti of Chinnadana Nee Kosam fame. “It’s a romantic entertainer and I am playing a lively character in the film,” says Ashwin. 

Talking about the film’s title, he says, “Yes, the protagonist will discover love.”

 

R. Samala is making his debut as a director with the film. “The director is new but he is handling the subject very well. Basically, love stories are all same but in this film, we are showing a new point. I can’t reveal it as the film’s shooting is in progress,” adds Ashwin.

 

Ashwini Kumar Sahadev, a Dubai-based businessman, is producing the film. It is also his debut as producer.
