Firms show keen interest to invest in Anantapur
Entrepreneurs from various parts expressed their willingness to establish industries in Anantapur

Anantapur: Entrepreneurs from various parts including abroad expressed their willingness to establish industries in Anantapur district. Those firms will provide employment for at least 80,000 people in the district, according to IT minister Palle Raghunath Reddy.
Referring to his recent tour to America and meetings with the industrialists of various sectors, Mr Raghunath Reddy told the media here on Tuesday that he invited them to establish industries in Anantapur district which had all facilities including access to international airport at Devanahalli in Beng-aluru and also fast clearance of files on single window system for approvals.
An NRI, Mahesh Nandyal, is likely to start Valutech Services Pvt Ltd at Sainagar in Anantapur on July 25. The company will provide employment opportunity to at least 60 engineering graduates, the minister said. Further 10 software companies - Volume Thought, Pun-dit View, Tech Energy, Blue Coarse, Easy Tech and Cloud Rock - are showing interest to establish companies in the district and they also gave letters to the government.
Mr Raghunath Reddy claimed that many solar and wind energy producers are coming forward to invest in the district following favourable conditions. "Gilian Energy expressed its willingness to establish to 600 million units solar and wind energy generation units at an estimated Rs 3,600 crore," Mr Raghunath Reddy said adding that VV steel corporation was also showing interest to start steel and aluminium based unit due to availability of raw material.
