Fire mishap creates panic in Rajahmundry
Three persons suffered severe burn injuries while several others

Rajahmundry: Even before the people could forget about the stampede that claimed the lives of 27 pilgrims, a fire accident, triggered by four blasts, in the heart of Rajahmundry spread panic on Wednesday. There were no casualties reported.
Three persons suffered severe burn injuries while several others, who tried to run away from the place, sustained minor injuries in the mishap.
Three police vehicles, eight two-wheelers, one auto and a Maruti car, which were parked at the place, were reduced to ashes. Bleaching powder and other sanitation material of the municipal corporation, put in two shops, were also burnt. Two other shops, including that of a cool drink and a restaurant, were also damaged.
