Keep poll promises, Chandrababu Naidu told YS Jagan Mohan Reddy
Jagan Mohan reiterated that the people of the state would not forgive Naidu

Anantapur: YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy called on the family of Eersanna, a farmer, who committed suicide at Pobbarlapali in Bramhasamudram mandal in Kalyanadurg Assembly constituency due to mounting debts, and assured the family of his support and assistance during second day of third phase of Paramarsa yatra in the district on Wednesday.
Mr Jagan Mohan reddy later visited B. Narayannapa house and interacted with the kin of the farmer at Mudhigallu village also M. Ganganna family at Varlla village in Kalyanadurg mandal. Earlier, the YSR Congress chief Mr Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had laid foundation stone for the construction of YSRC office at Kalyanadurg.
Mr Jagan, who is touring in the district also interacted with the party workers at Kalyanadurg and discussed about the strengthening of party at ground level.
Addressing a public meeting at Kalyannadurg mandal, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy reiterated that the people of the state would not forgive Chandrababu Naidu for backtracking on his election-time promises.
“Chandrababu Naidu claims that the farmers are very happy with his rule. He even says that the farmers were felicitating him for waiving off the crop loans. But, the reality is that the farmers are so angry that they would pelt stones on Chandrababu Naidu,” he said.
Jagan further recalled that during Y.S. Rajashekar Reddy's regime, the farmers could get loans at 0 per cent interest, but now they are paying a penalty interest of 14 per cent in Telugu Desam ruling.
The YSR Congress will wage a relentless battle to make the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu keep his all election promises and provide succor to the farmers.
