Visakhapatnam: Two pilgrims die in road accident
Accident occurred at around 5 am when a lorry rammed into the car carrying pilgrims to Pushkaralu

Visakhapatnam: Two persons, including a 12-year-old girl died in an accident near Sunnapubatilu area under Sabbavaram police station limits in Vizag district on Wednesday morning. The accident occurred at around 5 am when a lorry rammed into the car carrying pilgrims to Godavari Maha Pushkaralu.
The deceased girl was identified as K. Sivapriya, who was travelling to Rajahmundry along with her parents and brother. The police said that the girl suffered critical injuries and died on reaching King George Hospital in Vizag while her parents and brother suffered injuries and are said to be out of danger.
The driver of the lorry Ramayyadora, 25, also died in the accident. The lorry rammed into the car first and then collided with a tree on the roadside. The driver died on the spot after hitting the tree, said SI of Sabbavaram K. Prasad. This was the second accident at the same spot within a span of one week.
