HyderabadSenior Congress legislator T. Jeevan Reddy on Friday accused both, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and AP CM N. Chandrababu Naidu of having entered into a pact and deciding to bury the cash-for-vote scam and the phone tapping incident.

Addressing a news conference at the CLP on Friday, the Congress leader said it is quite amazing to see the Anti-Corruption Bureau, not only failed to include Mr Naidu’s name as the principle conspirator in the case, but also decided to water down the whole investigation by interrogating small fries like drivers, cooks and clerks belonging to third rung TD leaders.

“Several ministers in the TRS government, including the Chief Minister, had openly declared that Mr Naidu will be arrested and sent to jail in the cash-for-vote scam for his involvement. But it has been more than two months now. Neither a case or an FIR was lodged against Mr Naidu so far,” Mr Jeevan Reddy said.

Similarly, even Mr Naidu and his ministers had said the TRS government is involved in phone tapping, but no case has been registered so far and no FIR was registered against any Telangana ministers or officials, he added. He also said Mr Naidu, who is part of the NDA government at the Centre, failed to get the matter investigated by Central agencies.
