Lok Ayukta seeks Vigilance report in bar case

Thiruvananthapuram: The Lok Ayukta on Friday directed the Vigilance director to produce the final report and all related documents of the bar bribery case against Finance Minister K M Mani.

A bench comprising of Lok Ayukta justice Pius C Kuriakose and justice K K Denesan also gave time till August 12 for Kerala Bar Hotels Association president Rajkumar Unni to give his statement.

Though the petitioner, Khalid Mundapally, urged that the statement of Ambily should be recorded, the Loy Ayukta maintained that the demand would be considered after receiving the Vigilance report.
