THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said that as chief executive he would not tolerate the needless criticism of the functioning of a constitutional body like the Advocate general’s office.

“I will hit back in future, too, if the charges are repeated” the Chief Minister said in the Assembly on Monday.

“It was my duty to protect the 120 government advocates. One constitutional authority saying that another such authority should be shut down is unacceptable,” he added.
