Pakistan violates ceasefire along Line of Control

Srinagar: Pakistan on Wednesday violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control in Machil sector of Jammu and Kashmir by targeting Indian positions.

The first ceasefire violation took place at 11:40 this morning and then another one at 12:30 hours, the Army said.

The Pakistan army resorted to unprovoked firing on the Indian positions, it said, adding the Indian side effectively retaliated to the firing from across the LoC.
