Former MP Harsha Kumar released on bail
He was arrested and sent to judicial remand as he took up hunger strike

Rajahmundry: Former MP G. V. Harsha Kumar was released from the central prison here on bail on Wednesday. He was arrested and sent to judicial remand as he took up hunger strike demanding allocation of site for burial ground to the Christians and also opened fire from his revolver during an altercation with police.
Addressing supporters after his release, Mr Harsha Kumar held CM N. Chandrababu Naidu responsible for the death of 27 devotees in the stampede at Pushkar ghat and demanded a judicial inquiry on the mishap. He alleged that as CM Naidu was crazy for publicity and was performing rituals at Pushkar ghat for filming a documentary and this caused stampede deaths.
He demanded a probe into the fire mishap near Gokavaram bus stand and bomb explosion at an apartment at the approach road to the rail-cum-road-bridge. He warned that if the government failed to allocate burial ground to the Christians in 10 days, he would intensify the stir. He was taken in a procession by his supporters from jail.
