Hyderabad boy punished for unpaid fees
He was not allowed to write the assignment on Friday
Hyderabad: A Class IV student of Narayana e techno High School, collapsed on the school premises on Saturday morning. The incident happened on Friday morning, when the child along with 15 others were made to stand outside class, after failing to pay school fees. The child was shifted to a private hospital and parents staged a protest in front of the school.
As per sources, K Sri Sai Murugan is studying in class IV in Narayana e Techno High School in Shivaganga colony at LB nagar. His younger sister K Sri Sri is also studying in the same school in LKG. One of the teachers of Murugan allegedly beat him and made him to kneel down for not paying the school fees. He was not allowed to write the assignment on Friday.
Murugan’s parents noticed this on Friday evening, when he complained of fever and giddiness. “One of this teachers beat him severely and he was made to kneel down in the hot son. My child is studying in the same school from class I. We never delayed the payment of fees. We had a due of only Rs 700. My wife even mentioned a note in the school diary, about the delay in the payment . But they did not consider.” complained Murugan’s father K Venkatesh.
