Poor drainage greets chief electoral officer Bhanwar Lal

KARIMNAGAR: The election commission state chief electoral officer Bhanwar Lal was annoyed after finding ill-functioning air condition machines of the guest house and its poor drainage system when he was staying in temple town Vemulawada on Sunday night. However, he was accommodated in another guest house which is equipped with proper facilities.
Mr Bhanwar Lal along with his family members arrived at Vemulawada, to visit the historic Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple, on Sunday evening. He was allotted the Chairman’s guest house to stay in the night. He was irritated a lot as the air conditioning machines of the guest house were not functioning and toilets were not usable. Irked by the negligence of authorities of the temple, he called up district collector and said that he would like to stay in Karimnagar city.
Then, collector Neetu Prasad instructed Sircilla RDO Bikshu Naik to sort out the issue. It is learned that Mr Naik fumed at the temple’s AEO Devender and PRO Thirupathi Rao for providing the CEO with poor facilities at the guest house.
