Salman Khan to play a double role in 'Kick' sequel

The film is currently in its scripting stages and will be ready in the next 2-3 months

According to reports, the film has set a new weekend record of 102.60 crore, a new high for Bollywood. Previously, Aamir Khan's 'Dhoom 3' held the record for raking in 97 crore over the weekend, Shah Rukh Khan's 'Happy New Year' comes in next.

Mumbai: After the grand success of Salman Khan’s 2014 Eid blockbuster ‘Kick’, producer turned director Sajid Nadiadwala is currently working on the sequel of the film, which insiders say will be another huge success.

According to reports Salman Khan will be seen playing a double role in the second instalment of the film. Salman revealed to a leading daily that the he was completely blown away by the concept when Sajid approached him.

Nadiadwala is reportedly still working on the script, which will most likely be complete in the next two months. After which the project will be ready to go on floors.

Salman Khan has a number of projects lined up this year including ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ , and ‘Sultan’.
