Xiaomi, Huawei to sport AMOLED display in upcoming devices

With the launch of its Galaxy S series, Samsung completely changed the face of the smartphone, quite literally. While most smartphone were and still are using IPS LCD displays, Samsung launched the Galaxy S featuring a Super AMOLED display technology, which awed smartphone users across the world.

Essentially, as compared to LCD, AMOLED displays are much more punchy, they offer deeper colors and are vibrant. And a display is of course one of the most attractive feature of a smartphone. Consumers have really been waiting for other smartphones to sport the new display technology as well.

Fortunately, rumour has it that, Chinese smartphone manufacturers, Xiaomi and Huawei are intending to feature an AMOLED display in their upcoming smartphones. The two smartphone makers have already taken up a big share in the smartphone market, and we are sure that adopting the new display technology can work wonders for the two.
