THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said that SNDP Yogam can never join hands with the Sangh Parivar. He also added that whatever Vellapally has raised against the CPM will be reconsidered.

“In the best interests of all, the present new-found relationship between the SNDP and the RSS will not go well. Vellapally should not work as a tool for the RSS in its aim to swallow the SNDP. These two can never work together as they follow different ideologies," said Kodiyeri.

He also alleged that the SNDP yogam is protecting the interests of the rich. Kodiyeri told reporters in Kozhikode that it was the CPM that has taken care of majority of the working class in the traditional industries.

"While we took care of the working class, Vellappally was looking after the welfare of the businessmen”, added Kodiyeri.
