Horror movies made on low budgets featuring relative newcomers is the order of the day in K’town, and Ka Ka Ka (KKK) with the tagline Aabatthin Arikuri (danger warning) is the latest to join that bandwagon. The film has youngsters Ashok, Kiran, Megha Shree, Sangeetha Bhat and Baby Yuvina in central roles and is directed by Manon M, a former assistant to filmmakers like P Vasu, and Vetri Maaran.
According to Manon, the crew members of KKK had a scary experience while they were shooting. He says, “We shot at a lonely unused bungalow in Vishakapatnam for 35 days. For the first few days, we were busy creating the sets and interiors to suit the portion we were to shoot. After some time, a few technicians felt that there was something strange about the place and developed the jitters. I also had what could be called a mystical or supernatural experience. Sometimes, we used to hear weird and terrifying sounds from inside. Only after we completed the shoot did we come to know that the house is believed to be a haunted one.”
