Here’s another smartphone with a USB Type-C connector

A new smartphone with USB Type-C has been launched by Lenovo, under brand name Zuk

Lenovo has spawned another brand and named it Zuk. The brand has secretly launched a new smartphone with a USB Type-C connector. The Zuk Z1 is presently available in China and the product is priced around Rs 18,000. The design and specifications look like the smartphone has borrowed different profiles from the iPhone, Samsung Galaxy Edge and the OnePlus 2.

The Zuk Z1 boasts of a 5.5-inch full HD display and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with a 2.5GHz processor and 3GB of RAM. The internal storage is set to 64GB, but there are no expandable slots. On the camera front, the smartphone features a 13MP sensor for the rear and an 8MP sensor on the front. The Zuk Z1 also features USB Type-C connection for power and data, apart from Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, Fingerprint sensor and dual nano SIM cards. The 4G LTE compatible unit is powered by Android 5.1 and weighs 175g with an 8.9 mm chassis. The Zuk Z1 is fuelled by a massive 4100mAh battery and is available in two colours—White and Deep Space Grey.
