Watch: Katrina Kaif inaugurates Subhash Singh's make up academy

Earlier this year, when Katrina Kaif fired Subhash Singh, her make-up artist of 10 years, for not reporting on time, many deemed her action “unreasonable”. It happened on the sets of 'Jagga Jasoos'. Reportedly, he was on an assignment in Mauritius and due to bad weather, he could not make it on time. Both of them lost their temper and the incident took an ugly turn. More than six months have passed since and now it appears that the episode is well buried in the past.  

It was on Katrina's birthday (July 16) that Subhash called to wish her and they spoke on length. He requested the actress to inaugurate his own make-up academy and Katrina readily agreed. After the launch, she addressed the media gathered at the venue. She said, "Subhash and I have collaborated on almost every film together, he is like a family. Its been a long amazing journey that we have been on together."

He has also been Juhi Chawla’s make-up man for over 18 years. He recently turned producer with Chalk and Duster that stars Juhi, Shabana Azmi, Divya Dutta and Anupam Kher.
