Bollywood stars convey their Independence Day greetings on social media

The actor's have been posting '#SaluteSelfie' to pay tribute to the Indian Armed Forces

Mumbai: On the Occasion of the 69th Indian Independence Day celebrities from the film industry have sent out their best wishes to fans on their social media pages. Shruti Haasan posted a ‘#SaluteSelfie’ saluting all the brave men in the Indian Armed Forces on Independence Day.

Amitabh Bachchan posted. "#SaluteSelfie ... salute to our brave jawans that keep us safe, with their sacrifice .."

Priyanka Chopra, who is currently in Montreal shooting for 'Quantico' posted, "Respect. Pride. Gratitude... for the Indian Armed Forces! #SaluteSelfie #JaiHind #ArmyBeti"

Even Nargis Fakhri joined in and tweeted, "#SaluteSelfie Honoring the Brave & dedicated members of the Armed forces. #Respect #India #Serve&Protect"

Even Srilankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez showed some love for the jawans and tweeted, "For the Army jawans! Thank you for all that you do!!! #Grateful #Proud #SaluteSelfie"

Not to forget King Khan's post, who was one of the first Bollywood celebs to post his selfie. He tweeted, "Salute 2 r Armed Forces, who selflessly risk their lives 2 protect our beloved country & our families. #SaluteSelfie"
