Chandrababu Naidu to visit Delhi on August 18
He will discuss with Modi and union ministers the special category status to AP

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu would make a crucial visit to Delhi to discuss with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union ministers the special category status to AP.
Mr Naidu will stay for two days at Delhi on August 18 and 19. In view of the visit, the proposed Cabinet meeting on August 17 at Vijayawada has been postponed. In the wake of AP Congress public meeting at Tirupati, self-immolation by Congress worker Muni Koti and main Opposition party in AP Assembly, YSR Congress, holding dharna at Delhi for special status, Mr Naidu’s Delhi visit has got a political significance.
AP finance department principal secretary P. V. Ramesh sent a circular to all secretaries asking them to send pending issues of their respective departments to the centre before the Chief Minister’s Delhi visit in August.
