Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Reham Khan said on Friday that her husband, Imran Khan – the PTI chief - was responsible for peace in the Karachi. Talking to reporters in Karachi, Ms Khan said that anyone who tolerates suppression and wrongdoing is also a wrongdoer.

She said Imran was responsible for restoration of peace in Karachi. “Today we all should remind ourselves what freedom stands for,” she added.

Ms Khan urged the nation to follow the foot steps of founders of Pakistan Mohammed Ali Jinnah and Allama Mohammed Iqbal.

She said that the founder of the country wished freedom for minorities. “Pakistani flag looks attractive because of white colour representing minorities,” she said.

She contended that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain was spoiling the reputation of personalities who offered great sacrifices for the country.
