‘Travel as you like’ tickets easy to buy

Hyderabad: The TSRTC has introduced ‘Travel As You Like (TAYL) tickets’ on mechanised handheld machines in the Greater Hyderabad Zone at the Musheerabad depot on Saturday.

TAYL tickets are aimed at helping commuters to undertake multiple journeys in buses in a hassle free way and avoid purchasing tickets during each journey. The facility will help commuters who depend on buses.

Passengers can purchase a TAYL for Rs 70 and can use it for travelling any number of times in ordinary city buses, metro express and metro deluxe buses.

A Rs 150 per day TAYL ticket can be used for making multiple journeys in AC buses. The tickets which are currently issued manually by conductors will be available in mechanised form and can be issued immediately.

On an average 2.15 lakh Rs 70 TAYL tickets and around 3,300 tickets of Rs 150 denomination are sold every month.
