WhatsApp has introduced user-friendly features for all platforms

WhatsApp had deleted the Google Drive backup option in its latest 2.12.58 version in April. However, it seems like the social messaging app may bring this feature back in its next software update.

Latest reports state that WhatsApp has released its latest v2.12.232 beta on Android, which includes the Google Drive backup option. This sends out a hint that you will surely be allowed to backup your WhatsApp chats in the cloud.

Android users can backup their conversations using this feature. You just need to click on the Menu Button - Settings Chats and calls and then switch on the Chat Backup feature. One can set backups to occur daily, weekly, monthly, or manually.
