Sonu Nigam defends Radhe Maa on Twitter, receives flak for comparing her to Maa Kali
The singer went on to compare the 'god woman' with Maa Kaali
Mumbai: Radhe Maa enjoys a strong following in India including several B-town celebs. While many have stayed mum on the issue, others have spoken for and against her. The 'god woman' whose controversial photographs recently surfaced on the social media has faced criminal allegations.
However, singer Sonu Nigam, known to be quite a religious person, decided to bat for Radhe Maa on Twitter. He questioned the set of rules which give male saadhus more leeway in terms of dressing and behaviour and went on to compare Radhe Maa to Kaali Maa. The absurd comparison didn't go down well with Twitterati and flak started pouring in.
