A new solid-state drive (SSD) introduced by Samsung that offers 16TB storage will probably be able to store 2.5 years of video clips. The newly unveiled Samsung 16TB SSD is encompassed with 48 layers that contain 500 256GB/ 32GB NAND flash chips. Samsung 16TB SSD can store around 3 million MP3 files, more than 4,000 movies and nearly 5 million digital photos.

Samsung also claims that the 2.5-inch portable hard drive boasts 120 times more storage than an entry-level MacBook Pro or MacBook Air. There’s no official announcement about 16TB PM1633a SSD from Samsung yet. However, media reports state that the new hard drive will be priced below £5,000 (approximately below Rs 50,000).
