Herve Leger director says his bandage dresses are not meant for plump or gay women
Patrick Couderc, the UK managing director of Herve Leger, the fashion line owned by the BCBG Max Azria Group has successfully alienated a lot of women from buying the label’s famed Herve Leger dresses with his rude and homophobic comments.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Couderc gave the tabloid a list of women, who should not be wearing the figure hugging, dresses loved by many celebs like Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Kangana Ranaut and Shilpa Shetty to name a few.
Couderc stated that, “Voluptuous women, women with very prominent hips and a very flat chest and gay women should not be buying and wearing his brand’s dresses.” He told the Daily Mail, “If you’re a committed lesbian and you are wearing trousers all your life, you won’t want to buy a Leger dress. Lesbians would want to be rather butch and leisurely.”
