After Suriya launched his banner ‘2D Entertainment’ and produced his wife Jyothika’s comeback film 36 Vayadhinile; rumours are rife that his younger sibling Karthi has also floated a new company. Reportedly named ‘Prince Productions’, Karthi’s next film Kashmora is being produced under the same banner. Refuting these rumours, Karthi tells DC, “I am not interested in producing at all. Having worked as an assistant to Mani Ratnam sir, my passion has always been directing films. Prince Productions does not belong to me, and it is the company, which produced Singam 2. And Kashmora, directed by Gokul is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures by Prabhu.”
We hear that you play a dual role in Kashmora and one of them is a ghost? The actor was quick to respond in his inimitable style. “It’s a fantasy film and I am portraying a dual role, but I can’t divulge much about either of my roles,” he said and added, “The film has a historical set up and a war segment. This segment will be shot in North India and the team is scouting for locales in places like Rajasthan.” Heaping praise on Gokul he says, “Humour is Gokul’s forte. There’s a lot of suspense, twists and turns in Kashmora.”
