Hyderabad: A 38-year-old car driver allegedly hanged himself to death at his home due to family disputes. The incident happened on Monday at Yadagirinagar in the Jubilee Hills area. Police identified the deceased as K. Mohan Reddy, 38, a native of Siddipet in Medak district.
Police said Mohan Reddy was working as a car driver for a firm in Jubilee Hills. After marriage nearly 15 years ago his wife left him. Since then, he was in a live-in relationship with another woman, Sita, aged around 32. Her husband had died in a road accident seven years ago and she has two children.
Mohan and Sita were staying together in a rented house. Mohan was addicted to alcohol and the couple used to have arguments frequently. On Sunday night, Mohan came home drunk and an argument broke between the couple. “Fed up with this she left for her parents house on Monday. Depressed, Mohan hanged himself using a chunni,” said Jubilee Hills SI Jagadeesh.
