Surat: Superintendent of police, Tapi district, M K Nayak had said earlier that the two were captured only on suspicion.

The two were held on Wednesday at Songadh check-post on Gujarat-Maharashtra border in Tapi district of Gujarat by special operations group and handed over to the state Anti-Terrorism Squad.

Earlier, on Tuesday, the NIA released sketches of Zargham alias Mohammad Bhai and Abu Okasha, who had infiltrated into India along with captured Pakistani militant Mohammad Naved Yakub.

The anti-terror agency announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh to anyone providing information leading to their arrest. The two have been identified as Zarghan alias Mohammed Bhai, aged about 38-40 years, and Abu Okasha, around 17-18 years old.

The NIA took DNA and voice samples of Naved. NIA sources said collecting the DNA samples of the militant from Faisalabad, Pakistan could help prove his nationality.
