Actress Sanyathara, who’s debuting in Tamil cinema with the Vijay Vasanth-starrer Jigina is keen on making a place for herself in the industry. Previously called Sanya Sheik, the Hyderabad based model, says she changed her name because of her admiration towards Nayanthara. Talking about the film, she says it has to do with three Ls -— love, life and laughter.

She adds, “The plot revolves around the problems encountered by today’s youngsters who’re hooked to social networking sites. Vijay Vasanth plays a call taxi driver in this film, who regularly drops and picks up a set of IT professionals. We both create fake IDs on Facebook and propose to each other without meeting and whether they both unite in life, or does their relationship turn disastrous, forms the crux of the story.”

Sanya says she doesn’t mind doing glamorous roles provided they’re not vulgar. “I am open to any challenging role and I would like to do something like what Jyothika did in Chandramukhi," smiles Sanya. “I want to take it slow, and haven’t signed any project as of now. Based on the response I am getting on Jigina, I’ll plan my future films,” she signs off.
