When Brian appeared on an episode of Bravo’s Flipping Out, he seemed passionate about renovating one of their properties. But suddenly, it was revealed that the two would sell the house, which was most likely an early sign that they were on the outs.
When asked if marriage was tricky, Megan had said, “You can’t live in a fantasy land and think that everything’s going to be perfect all the time,” she told Men’s Health in 2014. “You will go through phases where you’re just not getting along. That’s going to happen and it might not even make sense to you sometimes.” Despite the “difficulties”, she maintained that Brian was her “soulmate”.

Brian and Megan got to know each other in 2004 when he guest starred on her sitcom Hope & Faith. “It was like magic,” Megan had said. They became engaged in 2006 then called it off. In 2009, Megan said she was just too young to tie the knot. But in June 2010, Brian proposed again and she said yes again, and 24 days later, they were married.
