Actress Parvathy Nair, who was last seen in Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain, is now a part of Ashok Selvan’s Pirai Thediya Naatkal Speaking to DC, an excited Parvathy says how she auditioned and bagged the role.
“Though the makers liked my pictures and felt that I would be apt for the role, they held an audition. I hope that this one will be a milestone in my career as I play one of the leads in the film in which Ashok Selvan dons a physically challenged role. It’s not the usual role, where I come and go for half an hour or so. It’s one of the important characters in the film where I have to prove that I could really get in to the skin of the character.”
So, is she going to play a role with negative shades? She says no and quickly adds that her role is full-on performance oriented. Ask her if she will be seen in any different avatar, she says, yes, “I’ll be undergoing a thorough makeover for the film.”
The actress who’s yet to bag a solo lead in Kollywood, says she’s quite happy with her choices so far. “I am beginning to explore the industry and am game for a long term innings. I am also particular about working with a good team of technicians, which is why I am a bit choosy about my films,” she adds.
