Wall crushes vehicles in Hyderabad
Three cars, two motorcycles and three autorickshaws damaged
Hyderabad: Due to heavy rains in the city on Wednesday night a compound wall collapsed on Thursday damaging three cars, three autorickshaws and two motorcycles.
The vehicles were parked by the side of wall. The incident happened in the Medibavi area in Ramnagar.
Sources said that one Kishan Yadav recently purchased a 9,000 sq. yard plot from Jairam Steels and built a wall of around seven feet height around the place.
As per Vaasthu specifications he also dug a well measuring 110 sq. yards on the premises.
The soil that was dug out was dumped next to the wall and this led to its collapse as the soil absorbed water during the rain on Wednesday night.
The wall collapsed due to the pressure of the damp soil. The cost of the damaged vehicles is around Rs 20 lakh.
The vehicle owners are demanding compensation from the land owner who building’s wall have damaged their vehicles .
