Chandrasekhar Rao makes Dharmapuri Srinivas special advisor
He is the first politician in the new government to be appointed advisor

Hyderabad: Former minister Dharmapuri Srinivas, who joined TRS recently, was appointed special advisor to the Telangana government on Friday. Mr Srinivas will take care of inter-state affairs and is being paid a monthly remuneration of Rs 1 lakh besides other perks and staff on par with a Cabinet minister. His tenure is for a year.
Incidentally, he is the first politician in the new government to be appointed advisor. He will be seventh advisor to the government with Cabinet rank. “I am extremely thankful to the CM for bestowing confidence in me. There are several pending issues with the Reorganisation Act which I will try my best to resolve,” Mr Srinivas said.
